Twenty-five students from Nanjing Forestry University in Jiangsu, China visited our Boston office on their first stop of their American cities tour. The students will be spending 12 days visiting parks and open space to see how landscape architecture is approached by design professionals in the United States. Nanjing Forestry University alumni and Harriman employee, Qian Pan was asked by the landscape architecture department head of Nanjing Forestry University to host the students as a part of the tour. Steve Cecil, Harriman Principal, spoke to the students about landscape and urban design with Qian Pan as his translator. The students will be able to take all of their knowledge from the trip back to China to apply in their student and professional work.
