Associate, Project Architect
Sharon Ames joined Harriman in 2012 with nearly 20 years of professional experience in design, architecture, and historic preservation projects in Northern New England and New York. Sharon serves as Senior Architect providing client interface, design and technical development for the diverse project types that comprise our college and university campuses.
Sharon brings to Harriman an extensive background in the assessment of existing buildings, and the design of thoughtful, contextual civic projects that support and enhance our built communities and campuses. Sharon enriches the Higher Education Studio with her expertise in building envelope evaluation, sustainable design, and the design of learning spaces. Sharon manages a variety of large and small projects for clients such as the University of New Hampshire, Dartmouth, and Bates Colleges.
