Harriman is excited to announce the opening of our new location in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The office address is 33 Jewel Court in Portsmouth’s West End. The new location positions Harriman closer to existing clients and aligns with the firm’s other offices to strengthen collaborative efforts.
“The energy of Portsmouth’s West End is a great match for Harriman, and we are excited about the City’s revitalization plans for the Islington Street Corridor,” said Clifton W. Greim, P.E., president and CEO of Harriman. “Our new Portsmouth location offers our current and prospective employees a diverse mix of urban amenities and civic spaces, while providing the firm with ample space for future growth. We look forward to continued collaboration with our clients from our new location.”
The new office occupies 2,800 SF office in the historic Scald House, a meticulously renovated two-story brick office building situated minutes from Downtown Portsmouth and less than one mile from I-95. The Harriman designed fit-out was built by Portsmouth-based construction manager Alternative Solutions. The space opened on August 1, completing the firm’s New Hampshire office transition from Manchester to Portsmouth.
Harriman’s current projects in the area include North End Portsmouth, a 72,600 SF five story mixed-use project by development firm HarborCorp LLC. It will transform a large parking lot into a mix of retail, hotel, residential and a conference center, designed to seamlessly blend into Portsmouth’s historic district. In addition, Harriman continues a long history of architectural and engineering projects on the University of New Hampshire (UNH) Durham campus.
