Lisa Sawin, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C ~ Architect
Lisa brings 12 years of design and construction experience with energy efficient educational buildings to her role as architect at Harriman. Lisa’s portfolio spans from Vermont to California and includes several K-12 modernization and addition projects. She has researched and authored successful private and federal grants, including a $1.4M High Performance Incentive (HPI) grant for energy improvements, and has been a key contributor in developing multiple LEED submissions. Lisa has served as visiting professor, guest critic, and professor assistant at McGill University, Norwich University, Vermont Technical College, and Yestermorrow Design Build School. Lisa received a Masters of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from Norwich University. She is a registered architect in Vermont, NCARB certified, and has earned LEED AP BD+C accreditation.
Stephen J. Fraser, AIA, LEED AP ~ Architect
As a practicing architect, Stephen brings to Harriman over 24 years of extensive experience with regulatory codes, building construction, project management, and construction administration, particularly in healthcare and K-12 educational buildings. Stephen received a Bachelor of Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology, is a licensed architect in Maine, and achieved LEED AP accreditation. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
Jennifer M. Siciliano, AICP ~ Senior Urban Planner
Jennifer’s strong background in community and regional planning and her expertise in writing zoning ordinances and bylaws will be advantageous to her role as senior urban planner at Harriman. She is certified by the American Institute of Certified Planners, serves as commissioner on the Historic District Commission for the City of Warwick, serves on the Rhode Island State Planning Council’s Technical Committee, and is a member of the American Planning Association. Jennifer received a Master of Regional Planning from the University of Massachusetts and a Bachelor of Art in Philosophy and Sociology from the University of Connecticut.
Samuel K. Forgue, PE ~ Civil Engineer
Samuel joins Harriman as a civil engineer in a design and project management role responsible for business development and outreach in the New England area. To this role, Samuel brings a strong background in solid waste engineering, including stormwater management, site development and grading, leachate conveyance and removal systems, landfill gas management systems, and pump station design. Samuel earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Merrimack College, and has professional engineering licenses in Massachusetts and New York. He is a Developing Leaders member of the Massachusetts chapter of the National Association of Industrial Offices and Properties (NAIOP).
Pranjali Rai ~ Urban Designer
In the role of urban designer at Harriman, Pranjali will contribute to the urban design of communities, mixed-use development projects, and college and university campuses as part of a multi-disciplinary team of urban designers, architects, landscape architects, and planners. A registered architect in India, Pranjali has worked in India, France, and the United States on projects involving redevelopment, urban design analysis, and planning research. Pranjali earned a Master of Community Planning and Master of Architecture from the University of Maryland. She received a Bachelor of Architecture from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology in Bhopal, India.
Mary Zambello ~ Designer in Interior Design Studio
Mary joins Harriman as a designer in the Interior Design Studio, where she will be responsible for developing and coordinating detailed design solutions. Her design experience ranges from adaptive reuse, rebranding, renovation, and new construction on a variety of projects, including corporate, higher education, hospitality, and healthcare sectors. Mary works at all stages of development, including programming, space planning, schematic design, and design development, starting from initial building and brand assessment through final construction documents. Mary received a Bachelor of Science in Design and Environmental Analysis from Cornell University.
Benjamin P. Hackett ~ Mechanical Designer
A recent graduate of the University of Maine, Benjamin joins the Harriman team as a mechanical designer. His responsibilities include HVAC design, plumbing and fire protection design, and building analysis for new and existing facilities. Benjamin brings a strong working knowledge of mechanical systems and a technical ability to design machine parts, create piping diagrams, and produce detailed CAD drawings. Benjamin earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
