Oct 02, 2012.
On October 2, 2012 Harriman was present as the Town of Randolph celebrated a culmination of efforts from the Town, State, community, consultants and contractors to celebrate the completion of the first phase of the streetscape improvements in the downtown. Improvements included new granite curbing, planters, street trees, ornamental tree guards, walkways, brick accent bands, accessible ramps and crosswalks along with curb bump-outs. While all these elements are key to redefining the downtown, the primary focus of this celebration was the unveiling of the ornamental lighting. At approximately 7pm, the new lighting was officially switched on and the new streetscape gleamed.
