Harriman makes use of applied technologies to be able to design systems that can communicate and relate differing building systems together and to track trends that allow adjustments to be made from a central building or campus automation center. We have a proven track record in designing energy management systems with direct digital controls that provide cost-efficient operation and the means for tracking energy data. We have completed renovations that expanded existing systems, designed new systems that interface with existing systems, and designed all new systems for both new buildings and existing facilities. Energy conservation, ease of operation, and the comfort of building occupants are primary considerations.

Harriman pursues creative partnerships to design relevant and innovative solutions to human needs. Our work is based on the belief that design is a collaborative human endeavor centered on knowledge, ingenuity, and beauty. Through practicing the art of architecture and the science of engineering, we create environments that honor context, embrace wisdom, and enhance well-being.
