USPS – Gorham Post Office

Expanding demand necessitated a new postal facility. This new building, five times the size of the cramped facility it replaced, not only meets current Postal Service needs, but has room for future growth.

A large work area makes mail sorting easier and more efficient, and loading docks accommodate up to ten rural carriers. Maintaining a convenient central location, the new post office is easier and safer to access than its predecessor, and provides ample off-street parking.

The lobby is filled with light from a wall of windows and there is room for display cases for the auxiliary items sold by the Postal Service such as stationery, hats, and phone cards. More post office boxes are available, and a self-service department offers customers convenience.
