Harriman worked with Beacon Architectural Associates and school leadership to create a campus master plan for Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood, Massachusetts. The school is an all-boy private Catholic high school with an enrollment of approximately 900 students on a 35 acre campus. The process included an assessment of the school’s needs, development of a building program, analysis of the campus constraints, evaluation of alternative campus plans and refinement of a preferred campus alternative to meet the projected needs of the school. The primary components of the master plan include a new wellness center, academic space, athletic fields, parking, and campus improvements to maintain competitiveness with peer institutions. The strategic planning for the campus considered land acquisition strategies and the positioning of Xaverian’s facilities to align with the school’s mission and goals.
