With over 12 years of experience, Alex’s expansive portfolio encompasses forward-looking structural solutions for higher education, research laboratories, workplaces, K-12 education, healthcare, and municipal facilities. As a member of Harriman’s Sustainability Committee, Alex is an ardent advocate for solutions that advance sustainability and conserve natural resources. Alex has been instrumental in the integration of mass timber and other emerging building technologies into Harriman’s practice. Committed to cultivating interdisciplinary idea exchange, Alex is a former Board member and avid supporter of Architalx, a Portland, Maine based lecture series that highlights leading voices in the architecture and design space. Alex earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine, Orono. He is a member of the  The Structural Engineers Association of Maine (SEAM) and the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
