New 900-Student School, Grades Pre-k-6
Harriman was retained by Lewiston Public Schools to design their new 900+ student elementary school on the Lewiston High School campus. The new facility is designed to replace and consolidate the existing Martel and Longley Elementary Schools into one new school. Harriman’s services included full services from site selection through programming, concept design and construction administration.
The site selection process evaluated 17 different sites before narrowing the selection to the Franklin Pasture site which is situated adjacent to Lewiston High School and equidistant between the two existing elementary schools. Its location on the existing athletic complex of the high school required relocation of all the athletic fields, including football, soccer, baseball and all support facilities.
This state funded project started construction in June 2017 and and was completed in August of 2019.
