Harriman prepared a detailed analysis and redevelopment plan for a former paper mill in Lee including a series of re-use concepts. In addition we developed an analysis on how the preferred re-use concepts will support and leverage other opportunities within Lee’s downtown. Prepared as a Mass-Development initiative in concert with the community, the project included collaboration with RKG Associates, as the on-call real estate adviser. Harriman applied its expertise in architecture and mill restoration projects, along with its understanding of key regulatory constraints associated with flood plain, building code and other issues. The strategy for redevelopment entails “editing” the existing building complex and re-organizing the site to support appropriate scales and types of development.
