Historic Restoration and Renovation
Renovations not only returned this turn-of-the-century public building to its original splendor after years of insensitive remodeling, but also made it more efficient.
Meticulous research provided the data for accurate restoration of tin ceilings, faux-finish wood panels, and encaustic tile floors. Modern mechanical and electrical systems were cleverly hidden in ceilings and old air shafts.
Creative space planning gave city officials more offices and meeting rooms and makes it easier for citizens to navigate the four-story building. What was once the city jail now provides much-needed storage for records.
