New Elementary School
Harriman was recently commissioned to provide architectural and engineering services for the planning, development and construction of a new school facility in Lewiston.
The study resulted in programming, concept building and site selection and design for a new 900+/- student elementary school to replace the existing Martel and Longley Elementary Schools.
The site selection process included a detailed analysis and evaluation of 17 different sites before narrowing the selection to the best site overall, development of a concept site design, preparation of the site application and obtaining concept site approval for the new elementary school.
Concept designs of the building and site are currently in progress. A June 2016 referendum is planned to seek voter approval of the project.
