Harriman served as the master planners, landscape architects and coordinating architects for the private-sector redevelopment project revitalizing the Wall Street/Harbor area in Norwalk, Connecticut. The project included two new mixed-used developments and the rehabilitation of historic buildings that line the neighboring streets. New plazas and park improvements connect to a new riverwalk that will provide public waterfront access. The project is composed of housing, artist lofts, live/work units, shops, offices and restaurants. It is designed to re-establish the traditional urban fabric that once distinguished the historic core of the community.
