When Franklin Community Health Network relocated its Farmington Family Practice, Harriman seized the opportunity to enhance the patient and provider experience.
The site’s natural beauty drove the design concept. A calming color palette, natural materials and expansive south-facing windows cultivate an atmosphere that enhances wellbeing. Throughout the space, views are focused on the adjacent gardens and pond.
The space planning and flow foster exceptional care. Separating the waiting area from the exam rooms allows for greater acoustical and visual privacy for patients and providers. Grouping the nurse work areas allows for greater collaboration and patient oversight to help improve care.
